A UN Court has partially reversed the sentence for the Serbian ultra-nationalist, Vojislav Seselj, sentencing him to only 10 years of detention.

Seselj is accused of prosecuting, killing and torturing several people during the bloody conflicts of the ‘90s in former Yugoslavia.

However, Seselj has served this time behind bars and he will not be imprisoned again.

Judge Theodor Meron said during a court session in Hague that since Seselj has spent 12 years in prison, his time has been served.

Seselj was sentenced in March 2016 on 9 counts of war crimes against humanity, after an 8-year-long trial.
