Presheva Valley Albanians won two seats in the Serbian Parliament.
Besides the leader of the Party for Democratic Action, Riza Halimi, the
other Albanian sitting in the Serbian Parliament is the former Head of
the Bujanoci Commune, Shaip Kamberi.

According to the Central Election Commission, the Party for Democratic Action has received more than 24,000 votes in a national scale, or 0.7%.

Halimi declared for the Serbian Media that he would accept the invitation to discuss the possibility of being included in the new Serbian government.

This is the first time in many years that Albanians receive more votes than expected, despite the boycott of most of the parties.

Shaip Kamberi was a journalist and human rights activist, known as a pragmatic representative of the Albanian people. The Serbian Central Election Commission has counted 99% of the votes.
