The Serbian Prime Minister, Alexander Vucic, called the guests coming
from Albania “a bunch of fake officials”. He said that Serbia will never
accept the responsibility for what happened in the stadium.
“I am waiting the comments from the European Union about this. I have informed them about the possible incidents, the political scenarios and other provocations from officials, because the entire tribune was full of officials. Imagine that some of them had scarves of the KLA. And they are sophisticated people, but it was clear they had come to provoke. I don’t hide from anything and my face is clear. I can see anyone in the eye and meet them, but I don’t know if they can see me in the eye”, Vucic declared.
President Tomislav Nikolic, who was present in the stadium, said that this is an attack against the friendship between Albania and Serbia. According to the President, Serbia has welcomed the visit of the Prime Minister of Albania as a sign for establishin good relations, but it is clear that Albania will need decades, if not centuries, to become a normal state and without hate against Serbia”.
He said that what was missing on that mini-drone was a bomb, and that would create the impression of the biggest terrorist in the world.
The Serbian Football Federation thanked the viewers that supported them, and considered what happened a terrorist act against Serbia. They asked UEFA to react and fine the Albanian football federation, as they did with them in Genoa.
