The President of Serbia, Alexandar Vucic, declared in front of local media, after the extraordinary meeting with the National Security Council, after the killing of Oliver Ivanovic in Mitrovica.
Vucic said that this is a terrorist act, and it will be treated by Serbia as such.
“The authors of this act will be brought to justice. If those who are responsible will not do it, we will do it”, he said.
The Serbian President added that the National Council of Security decided to send a letter to EULEX and UNMIK with the request for Serbia to be part of the investigation within the territory of Kosovo.
“I don’t want to speculate, but there are interesting details that address us to the authors. Whoever has committed this act, may they be Serbian, Albanian or foreigners, they will be facing justice”, Vucic said.
As for suspending the dialogue with Kosovo, Vucic said that when there are daily threats, it is pointless to dialogue.
