Macedonia and Serbia have different stances for Kosovo, but this will
not prevent both countries from cooperating with each other.
This is the conclusion of both presidents, Djordje Ivanov and Boris Tadic, who met yesterday in Belgrade during the ninth UNESCO summit.
“The different stances regarding Kosovo and the church issue are not and will not be an obstacle for the progress and cooperation between Serbia and Macedonia”, declared both Presidents.
The Serbian President, as organizer of the meeting, invited all Presidents of Southeastern Europe, except Kosovo.
The focus of the meeting was reconciliation and inheritance, while the head of the states are expected to give a joint message for the coexistence and reconciliation between the countries of the region.
