Sequi: Elections, important for EU integration

The Albanian President, Bamir Topi, held a meeting with the Head of EU
Delegation in Tirana, Ettore Sequi. According to the presidential press
release, they discussed matters regarding the pre-election situation and
the importance of May 8th local elections.

The European official, Ettore Sequi, emphasized that the local elections have a great significance for the Albanian integration in EU.

The Albanian President, Bamir Topi, pointed out the necessity of a calm and civilized campaign and the successful performance of free and honest elections, in full accordance with the democratic standards.
