Self-Determination Movement considered the new agreement of the Kosovo
government with KFOR as a withdrawal from the situation in Northern
Kosovo.
The leader of this movement, Albin Kurti declared that the agreement is a failure for the state of Kosovo, and the responsibility falls on the Prime Minister Hashim Thaçi, who, according to him, did not continue with the operation for extending the sovereignty of the government in the northern area.
“The clauses for which the government of Kosovo and KFOR agreed, are KFOR orders for our government, and not conditions set by our government to KFOR”, Kurti declared.
“The government has no kind of control on the northern areas, since this responsibility was passed to KFOR, which is staying in Kosovo under the Resolution 1244 and doesn’t recognize the independence of our country”, he added.
