The Self-Determination Movement activists threw tomatoes against the EU
mediator for the Prishtina-Belgrade dialogue, Robert Cooper, while he
was leaving the Kosovo government building.

Cooper arrived in Prishtina after the visit in Belgrade, and he met the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, and the head of the negotiations, Edita Tahiri.

The meeting was not announced for the media, and the camera crews have not been allowed to enter. Right after receiving the news about Cooper’s visit, dozens of Self-Determination Movement activists surrounded the building with chants against the dialogue with Serbia.

The EU envoy discussed with Thaci about the implementation of the agreements reached between Kosovo and Serbia in Brussels.

Thaci underlined that the agreements must be implemented by Serbia, since they help the citizens of both states and also contribute in peace, stability and regional cooperation.

The EU mediator in the technical talks between Kosovo and Serbia, Robert Cooper, underlined that the agreements signed by the Kosovo and Serbia representatives must be implemented as soon as possible, so that there can be progress, according to the announcement.

After the meeting with the Kosovo government, irresponsible people have thrown tomatoes to Cooper.
