“Personal contribution for the Bank of Albania”. This is what the
Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, appealed to all Albanians who work in
the international financing system and who are available as possible
candidacies to be part of the Bank of Albania Supervisory Council.
Rama invites them to post their letter of interest in the address opened especially for this occasion, [email protected].
Rama explains that this process is completely based on the government’s free will to give their contribution so that the Bank of Albania comes out more independent and safer.
The Albanian Prime Minister adds that although the law doesn’t define or regulate a procedure for the way how the candidates of the Supervisory Council express their interest of how they are selected, before they are voted in Parliament, the Prime Minister listed four reasons for this process:
a) For a wider range of selection possibilities
b) To give a chance to anyone who can and is willing to contribute
c) To bring the Supervisory Council to a new level of professional responsibility
d) To set merit as a in the selection criteria and for deepening the depoliticization of the Supervisory Council
The deadline for all interested is September 30th .
