Security Commission meeting fails

The security Commission did not gather in the three first weeks of the
Parliamentary Session. The vice chairman of this Commission, Ilir Gjoni,
declared that this is an effort for avoiding the Parliamentary
inspection at the Ministry of Defense.
He says that they are abusing with the “state secrecy” term, while the abuses at the Ministry are continuing.
“The are trying to cover the impunity of some elements that abuse with the law within the security institutions”, Gjoni declared.
But the Socialists have another plan to inspect the Ministry of Defense. The law gives the Ombudsman the right to hold this inspection, and for this reason they have sent a request to this institution.
“We used the fact that the law allows the Ombudsman to inspect the state institution that manage secret information”, Gjoni declared.
