The second segment of Tirana’s new boulevard will open by early next year, according to Mayor Erion Veliaj, guest on Top Story.
He said that more than half of the boulevard will be ready, while the entire project will be complete by the end of the next year.
“We have approved the project for the new park as well. It will be several times bigger than the Rinia park and will give the city new lungs. The Artificial lake is also being cleaned, and it received 300,000 visitors a year. 300,000 citizens of Tirana have visited the lake at least once a year”, Veliaj said.
The entire project, according to Veliaj, will be concluded with a square similar to the Mother Theresa one.
