“Searching soldiers’ remains, a humane act”

The United for Human Rights Party supports searches for the remains of Greek soldiers in Korce.

Despite the fact that historians say that the Greco-Italian war did not take place in Korce, the UHRP says that finding their remains is a human right.

“The procedure for searching the remains of the fallen soldiers is realized on a very humane agreement. They were brave men and women, somebody’s sons, who gave the most precious thing on behalf of peace, freedom and democracy. Don’t they deserve a tombe, a name or a symbol?”, declared Ligoraq Karamelo.

This reaction of the UHRP comes after a declaration launched by the Red and Black Alliance leader, Kreshnik Spahiu. Karamelo declared that Omonia will sue the RBA leader for inciting interethnic conflict.

“The tongue of this political snake should be shortened, because it could poison everything around. In the last declaration he offended all the dead soldiers and incited ethnic hate, acts that are condemnable by the Albanian Criminal Code, and for this reason Omonia will demand a legal prosecution. It is an honour for the political class and the public opinion to condemn and distance themselves from these low declarations”, Karamelo declared.
