“Santa Claus Gang” robber sentenced to 25 years in prison

The Court of Serious Crimes decided today for Ilir Kupa, member of the “Santa Claus” robber gang, giving him life in prison.

However, Kupa was able to avoid life in prison by accepting accelerated trial. Now he will serve 25 years in prison.

Kupa is part of the gang that made the spectacular escape from the Trikala prison in Greece.
