Salianji accuses Serious Crimes Prosecutor of having ties with criminals

The former Democratic Party MP, Ervin Salianji, declared today that he filed an incriminating material at the Independent Commission of Qualification regarding the integrity of the Prosecution of Serious Crimes, Gent Osmani.

The ICQ will decide if he will pass the vetting process or not.

“I just handed over a CD with surveillance taken by the Prosecution through a court order. These materials show how Osmani decides for the appointing, firing and transferring of Prosecutors of any level. And also for the creation of the Special Prosecution he has communicated with Alfred Alizoti, placing himself with Xhafaj and the politicians”, Salianji said for the media.

According to Salianji, the CD has an audio recording which proves the cooperation between Prosecutor Gent Osmani with witness Fredi Alizoti to cover the involvement of Agron Xhafaj, the brother of the former Interior Minister, Fatmir Xhafaj.
