From the newly rehabilitated Golem Health Center, health Minister Ogerta Manastirliu stated that 133 doctors and nurses will serve in the summer 24-hours health centers, which will have a special protocol for identifying cases with COVID19.
The disinfection program has also started, for a safe tourist season. “28 summer health centers will be opened near the tourist areas with 24/7 service to guarantee a safe tourist season”.
The Minister added that, despite the situation of dealing with COVID19, investments in health have continued without stopping.
The Golem Health Center has been fully rehabilitated under the national program of 300 health centers and is ready to serve not only the 12,000 residents of the area, but also many holidaymakers during the season.
Like this center, there will be 28 health centers that will open on June 15 in coastal and mountainous tourist areas. According to the order of the Minister of Health, the areas where summer health centers will be opened are: Razëm, Valbona, Tamara, Theth, Currila Beach, Gjiri i Lalzit, Darëza, Zvërnec, Qeparo, Pogradec, Rrjoll, Tale, Velipojë, Shëngjin, Durrës, Shkëmbi Kavajës, Golem, Mali i Robit, Divjakë, Plazhi i Vjetër Vlorë, Radhimë, Dhërmi, Orikum, Himarë Ksamil 1, Ksamil 2, Borsh.
