One person died today in Himara, southern Albania, after was hit by a vessel while swimming in the sea. Local police reported the vessel hit the victim – a Russian tourist of 43 years old was heavy injured on the head and upper body. Denis Kaiumov was in Albania with his wife and daughter on holidays.
The incident happened in the Livadhi beach area, 500 meters from the shore according to police reports, who also confirms that the vessel left the place and is not yet caught or identified.
