Russian Foreign Ministry, declaration against Albanian PM Edi Rama

The Spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said that Russia cannot stay silent as Rama makes it clear that Albania’s unification with Kosovo is not a “Plan B”, but a “Plan A”.

“We thought that his declaration was maybe translated badly. We verified it several times. We consider such rhetoric as very unacceptable. This is a violation of Serbia’s territorial integrity and goes against the status of Kosovo’s Autonomous Region”, Zakharova said.

She also mentioned that Russia’s stance regarding the solution for Kosovo remains unchanged.
