Ruling coalition issues not to be mixed up with Justice Reform obligations, Ilir Meta says

Ruling coalition between Socialist Party and Socialist Movement for Integration must fulfill its obligations, leader of the latest Ilir Meta said in respond to journalist interest after Democratic Party chairman Lulzim Basha declared early today the country needed e caretaker government. “The coalition issue must not be mixed up with the Justice Reform. Our coalition has a specified program, both issues should not be intertwined”, Meta said.

He also commented on a lunch meeting he had with former President Rexhep Mejdani and former MP Koço Kokëdhima, saying it was planned from some time now and the presence of the former Kokëdhima as pure casualty, demanding not to be given involved in everyday politics.

As per the approval of the laws that follow the constitutional changes, like the Vetting law, Meta expressed his optimism for the near future. “The opposition expressed today its proposals and soon we will have another commission meeting. We will do anything to fulfill the schedule”, Meta said.
