Linda Rama: Between Family, Work and Albania’s Future The opposition asked the majority to be careful, because
the political climate could deteriorate if there will be actions that
the Socialist Parliament Group leader, Gramoz Ruci, considered as
“gang-style”.
A few days after the historical consensus agreement reached between Albania’s two biggest parties, the Socialist Parliament Group leader expressed the concern for the recent occurrences in Fier, which, according to him, are a full violation of the Constitution.
“I want to guarantee the Prime Minister that the opposition will stand to the agreement, but if the majority will not stop these acts, the political climate not only will not improve, but it will deteriorate and the responsibility will be yours”, Ruci declared.
The Socialist MP reminded that regardless the fact that the consensus was reached with the Democratic Party for major issues, even after the Socialist votes were stolen, after two Socialist colleagues and four Socialist supporters were killed, the opposition will not be able to take any other unjustifiable acts by the majority.
