The Rrogozhina Prison Director and two doctors were arrested by the Economic and Financial Crime Sector at the Durres Police.
The investigations started after a report made at the Durres Prosecution a few days ago. The Police arrested this Friday Ferdinand Doksani, 49, resident in Tirana, Director of the Rrogozhina prison, and two doctors of this institution, Aldo Kinda, 26, and Fatri Hate, 46.
Director Ferdinand Doksani was arrested over power abuse, while doctors Konda and Hate were arrested for falsification of document.
Both doctors, with the approval of the prison Director, have falsified medical reports that would allow prisoners to take a leave, after they had been paid.
The first investigations have discovered at least 11 illegal permits given to prisoners.
This is the second time that Doksani ends up in prison. In 2012 he was arrested for abuses with scrap metal, when he was Director of the Nitrogen Factory in Fier.
One year ago, after the famous escape of a group of prisoners from the Drenova prison, who were then captured by the police, Doksani was warned by the Justice Minister, Nasip Naco.
