The Competition Authority has fined the Romano Port Society with 6.7
million ALL over abuses with the dominating position in the gas
discharging market.
The Competition Commission argued that they have asked additional documents to some gas societies, when it is not required by law.
The Authority notes that on the same time, these documents have not been required from some other subjects. According to the Authority, this position of the Romano Port society has limited the competition in the market. The Authority notes that this company has asked gas and oil companies to pay some additional financial obligations that are foreseen by the law.
