Roma sheltered in military facilities

Ksera declared that this decision will pass to the Council of Ministers very soon.

“The Roma that have been sheltered there, come from different parts of Albania. We are completing the documentation for addressing it to all local units, especially the Tirana Municipality. But we are also passing a special Council of Ministers decision through which the Ministry of Defense gives us a military compound, near the Kombinat, so that we can create a center for such problems, not only for the Roma people but for all others who have such problems”, Ksera declared.

The situation of the Roma people in this area has deteriorated, and life in tents is much difficult. Their children have health problems and most of them beg on the streets of Tirana.
