The case of 15 Roma families, who must leave their tents by February
1st, since the landowner doesn’t allow their stay anymore, has been the
focus of the Ombudsman, Igli Totozani, at the office of the Minister of
labor, Spiro Ksera.
After the meeting that lasted a few minutes, the Ombudsman told for Top News that if the promise for resolving their sheltering problem will not be held, Mr. Totozani will offer the Ombudsman premises for them.
One day ago, the Roma family protested in front of the Labor Ministry, one year after they were evicted from the barracks built near the Train Station. The asked an urgent solution, since they could remain on open streets if the state will not intervene.
