Roma evicted from camp

15 Roma families that were evicted by force from their shelters at the
Train Station will be obliged to leave the tents raised by the Ministry
of Labor by February 1st, since the land owner will not allow them to
stay any longer.

For this reason, the Roma family took their children and protested in front of the Ministry of Labor.

They asked a meeting with the high rank leaders of this Ministry, which should secure them a new shelter, according to the promises made to this community during the last year.

Although they waited for several hours, none from the Ministry of Labor officials met the Roma.

The situation irritated them and they declared that tomorrow they will build their shelters at the Ministry’s doors.
