As of today, the roaming service tariffs for the citizens of the Western Balkans are removed, who will no longer pay any additional fees for mobile telecommunication services while traveling in the Western Balkan countries.
The development is a result of an agreement between the governments of the countries of the region Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Northern Macedonia, Montenegro, Kosovo and Serbia, the first phase of implementation of which began in 2019 with a reduction of ‘roaming’ prices up to 80 percent, while the second phase or the elimination of tariffs, was announced as taking effect on 1 July 2021.
Roaming tariff means the additional price that mobile companies charge for communication during the movement of the user in different countries.
