Kosovo institutions are discussing with KFOR for planning a new action plan to remove the northern roadblocks.
According to the interior minister, the removal of the roadblocks could start, but they must also calculate the consequences of this action.
“The potentials and the possibility are there, but we must evaluate the level of force that will be used, if there will be violence”, Rexhepi declared.
Rexhepi added that they have discussed with KFOR only for the ideas, not the modalities. The roads in Bernjaj and Jarinje are still closed, and the Kosovo Police and Customs agents go to work by EULEX helicopters.
The Serbian officials wanted to talk about the northern issue at the dialogue table, but official Prishtina has rejected all possibilities to discuss about territorial matters. This Friday, the KFOR Commander, Erhard Drews, did not exclude a possible NATO intervention for removing the roadblocks.
