Two days after a tragic accident in Velipoja where 4
people lost their lives after falling into a canal, the fourth victim remains
unidentified. One day after the accident, road signs were put in the exact spot
that has been even before the place of car incidents. An improvised embankment with
gravels and tires was also put in place. Actions were not taken by the
responsible authorities but from Shkodra Road Police.

Since the incident was the latest from a long series, investigations are expected to include even on road infrastructure quality. Local police even notified road authorities after a previous incident happened in May last year with one victim, but since the last incident no measures were taken.
