Road Authority directors remain in prison. 80 million EUR damage

The Court of Appeals for Serious Crimes has left in power the “Arrest measure” for three former officials of the Albanian Road Authority.

The former Director of the Road Authority, Dashamir Xhika; two former directors who managed the projects, Aksel Qurduka and Albens Alite, were left in prison.

Dashamir Xhika, Albens Alite and Aksel Qurduka are suspected of corruption and power abuse for the Elbasan-Tirana highway, for a damage that mounts up to 80 million EUR.
