The Director of the Albanian Road Authority, Afrim Qendro, was summoned as a witness by the Prosecution of Serious Crimes against severe violations with the implementation of the Tirana-Elbasan project.
Three auditors who verified the violations, who were reported by Minister Gjiknuri, have also testified.
Two former Ministers of the Socialist Movement for Integration, Sokol Dervishaj and Edmond Haxhinasto, were both questioned for the case.
Two former Directors of the Road Authority, Dashamir Xhika and Andi Toma, are both held in prison.
The Prosecution will also question Minister Damian Gjiknuri, who filed the audit report, showing the violations.
