Rita, the 12-year-old girl from Kosovo was declared winner of the “Voice
Kids” show, which aired this Friday night on Top Channel in its final
night.

After an extraordinary night, filled with special performances, the girl from Prishtina, Rita Thaci, was declared winner of the first edition in this talent show.

“I was very happy. It felt like the entire world was mine, and all that sacrifice finally paid off. I feel very excited and happy. This was my biggest dream and I want to thank everyone about this”, Rita declared.

The 12-year-old girl was one of the 110 talents chosen among 1200 children who registered to become part of this show, the success of which follows that of “The Voice of Albania”.

After an initial phase in the hidden auditions, the girl from Kosovo became part of Alma’s team, with whom she went to the finals.

“I think that Rita arrived here because of her talent. Rita is a very hard working girl, but I will reiterate that for us it doesn’t matter who wins. This format is designed to bring out a model talent, singers that in the future should be models. Let’s remove the cliches of singers who become famous with their recorded songs. Today we had everything live, starting from the band, the choir and the singers… children who were able to perform fantastically”, Alma Bektashi declared.

The show brought tons of emotions on Top Channel, bringing to the finals six girls, chosen by Alma Bektashi, Elton Deda and Altin Goci.

The three best ones, Elisa, Uendi and Rita were voted by the public. While this was the final of the first edition, authors say that they are working for the second one.
