Rexhepi discusses roadblocks with KFOR and EULEX

The Kosovo Interior Ministry will meet with EULEX and KFOR to
discuss the solutions for the Northern Kosovo situation.

The news comes from the Interior Minister, Bajram Rexhepi, who specified that they will discuss on all possible actions that could be taken for removing the Serbian roadblocks.

“Life must return to normality. We will discuss with EULEX and KFOR about what to do with the roadblocks”, Rexhepi declared.

Jarinje, Serbs build concrete walls

Gunshots were heard in the northern areas of Mitrovica, during the second day of the Kosovo Government operation.

According to Kosovapress, the security forces have immediately increased their presence at the main bridge over the Iber River, which remains free for the citizens to pass.

The Top-Channel correspondents report that all roads leading to the border checkpoints remain blocked.

Rexhepi: Sick ideas

The Kosovo Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bajram Rexhepi accused Kosovo Serbs of trying to raise dividing walls.

“These are sick ideas from sick individuals, trying to build Berlin walls. We are discussing it with our international partners”, Rexhepi declared for KTV.

Balkan media report that the Serbian residents in Rudare have reinforced the roadblocks with concrete walls.

Same sources say that there have been efforts for building such a wall at the northern part of the Iber River.

During his interview, Minister Rexhepi underlined that the security measure in north is under the control of Kosovo and international security forces.
