The owners of homes that are affected by the building of a new boulevard
in Tirana, protested again this Monday in front of the Tirana
Municipality.
They say although they were negotiating to fulfill their requests, the municipality keeps sending notification letters for emptying their homes.
Residents say Mayor Veliaj had promised to resolve their problem, but the Director of Strategic Projects at the Municipality of Tirana, Genc Kjodheli, said in an interview for Top Channel that the compensation value is established by the Council of Ministers.
