Residents protest against construction on sport field

The residents of Lapraka, in Tirana, gathered to protest the destruction of a sport field.

The residents were told that the Salillari Company would start building a structure.

The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, reacted after the protest.

He said that same as with the Kosova school, there were plans by the previous administration, led by Lulzim Basha, to build a commercial construction. Now, according to Veliaj, his administration has stopped it and it was returned to the community as a sports terrain.
