The government is continuing with the national operation that aims to
stop the electricity abuses and the arrest of those who make illegal
connections.
11 men of an apartment building in Kruje were arrested while trying to reconnect electricity illegally. They had accumulated huge amounts of debt and the inspectors cut their energy.
But the family members reconnected it on their own, and were taken by the police.
Their files were sent to the Kruje Prosecution, making almost an entire apartment be on trial. The government has approved a scheme that is valid until February 28th for these citizens, through which they can pay with installments.
According to the scheme, these families will have to pay not less than 2500 ALL per month. The families that are part of the welfare will have to pay not less than 1000 ALL. The consumers who want to pay immediately will have 80% of the delay fees pardoned.
