Request for moratorium for unsolicited PPPs rejected. They will be banned instead

The government has decided to ban PPP concessions to unsolicited requests.

However, the majority seems divided on the matter. MP Ilir Beqja said that this shouldn’t be a ban, but a temporary suspension until 2021.

The decision of Beqaj was even approved at the Commission of Productive Activities.

The Commission of Economy, which is responsible for this law, rejected it by standing to the variant brought by the government.
