The Supervisory Council of the Bank of Albania rejected the proposition
of the former MP of the Socialist Party, Ermelinda Meksi, currently
member of this council, for the resignation of Governor Ardian Fullani.
In an extraordinary meeting held this Wednesday, seven members of the Council voted in favor of the proposition that was rejected with six votes against and one in favor.
Governor Fullani is holding the post of the Chairman of this Council, while other members are Petraq Milo, Ela Golemi, Elisabeta Gjoni, Dhori Kule, Ermelinda Meksi and Ardian Civici.
If even if this Council would approve for Governor Fullani to be discharged, the proposition would also need the vote of the Albanian Parliament.
