The efforts of 43 MPs of the Kosovo Parliament to repeal the Special Court law were reflected on the progress report of the European Commission as well.
“The effort made this December 2017 has raised serious concerns. It is essential for Kosovo to fulfil its international obligations, such as the Special Court, which was established to address some claims for war crimes”, the report says.
Another challenge, which doesn’t completely depend on Kosovo, is the dialogue with Serbia.
“Kosovo needs to deepen the dialogue with Serbia, including the implementation of all agreements, especially the association of Serbian communes”, the European Commission declared.
The Commission values the ratification of the border agreement with Montenegro and appeals the political class to advance with reforms for the stabilization-association reforms.
