Repatriation started today, but some Albanians chose to return to Italy

“I’m here since the 5th of March. I was trapped, but it was decided today to go. I have two children there but my wife and I are here. We applied for the occasion presented by Rama and they gave us the ticket here”, said one citizen travelling to Italy. “The return tickets I had are lost now. I made an e-mail request but it didn’t work. I have been quarantined here for 30 days. There the children are at home alone. It’s definitely difficult. ” added Mr. Latifi.

Another citizen in the same position said: “I’m here since the beginning of March. I came for a break and stayed with my parents. Now I will quarantine for 14 days in Rimini. There is fear but I have to go back to work. Now I am paying for the ticket.”
