The RENEA forces and the Shijak Police have prevented a double murder inside a family.
Family problems have caused tension at the Smoqi Family in the Kenete Village, Gjepalaj Commune in Shijak. The 49 year old Flamur Smoqi threatened to kill his wife and son. After negotiating with the police, he lowered the weapon and turned himself in, with his two family members out of danger.
Armed with a AK-47, Smoqi was surrounded by the police who prevented a foretold crime. The family was having tensions due to a conflict created with the bride of Smoqi’s son.
