The trial for the kidnapping and disappearance of the businessman Remzi
Hoxha was postponed again. After the defendant Kumbaro escaped from his
residence in London, the British delayed their answer for his
extradition or interrogation.
For more than three months, the judicial authorities have sent to their British homologues a memo in which they as Kumbaro’s extradition, based to a decision of the Albanian Supreme Court. In its absence, the court requested Kumbaro’s interrogation in London, as a key declaration for the process.
While waiting for the answer of the British authorities, Kumbaro left his residence and this made this answer even more difficult. After the death of Prosecutor Xhevat Hana, the case was taken by the Prosecutor of Serious Crimes, Elisabeta Ymeri.
