The Socialist Party leader, Edi Rama, held a meeting with the Gjirokaster citizens.
The opposition leader considered lies all the declarations of the Albanian Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, saying that economy is damaged by removing the Value Added Tax from basic food products.
“What Berisha is saying about the VAT removal, that it destroys the domestic production, is completely untrue. He has been promising for a long time to bring tap water to every house, but tap water is missing, because the state itself is absent”, Rama declared.
Rama’s next stop for today is Dervician, Libohova, Permet and Tepelena.
