Religious leaders in Kosovo (Muslim, Christian and Protestant), gathered
for a joint dinner at the “Mother Theresa” cathedral of Prishtina, from
where they gave a cooperation message to the political leaders.
“We should not threaten each other with the force of people or of power. We must cooperate with the strength of love and by following our hearts. Our political leaders must know that despite different views on problems, we are all part of the one single state”, said Don Dode Gjergji, Archbishop of Kosovo.
The Mufti of Kosovo, Naim Ternava, invited the political class of Kosovo to find unanimity and leave this situation behind.
“They must sit and find agreement among each other for a better future of our country”, said Naim Ternava, Mufti of Kosovo.
When asked if they would intermediate for the crisis, they said they would invite the political leaders in a joint dinner for discussion, but not with any concrete measure.
