The INSTAT director, Ines Nurja, declared that the population
registration process has started well and the Albanians are showing
their readiness for making it work.
“The first indications say that the work has been made with professionalism and the Albanian citizens have opened the doors to the interviewers. The process is going well and I want to thank the interviewers for their job. For this process, INSTAT has printed 40 million pages and have hired 12.000 interviewers, 2500 supervisors and overseers. We have opened 374 offices all around Albania, who are working hour after hour for making this effort successful”, declared the INSTAT director, Ines Nurja.
The registration process started one day ago, although it was opposed by the Red and Black Alliance and the Greek minority organization “Omonia”.
