The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, was part of the second
international conference for online construction permits organized by
the Minsitry of Urban Development and its partners.
The Prime Minister said that there have been 400.000 illegal buildings which have also blocked all development plans and strategies.
Rama spoke in front of guests from all countries of the region. “Let’s not wait for entering the EU to cooperate, but let’s start now”, Rama said.
“The EU does not stop us from liberalizing the trade relations, so that we can bring down the fee barriers and make our region as it if was the EU, although it isn’t. The EU is not stopping us from going beyond ourselves and make sure that our producers have no borders, and so that they don’t need documents and licenses and assessions before crossing. If we go quickly to this direction, we will be richer. Our people will benefit more, our countries will benefit more and our economy will grow more”, Rama declared.
