Refugees in Konica, Greece, with maps of Albania

The Syrian refugees are getting closer to the Albanian border. 160 of
them, mainly with families, were sheltered by the Greek government in
Konica.

The Syrian refugees have been sheltered by the Greek government in the premises of the high school of the city.

Their number will increase in the day to come. Thousands are expected to come from the port of Pire.

A few kilometers southern of the Albanian border, the Syrian refugees have received maps of Albania.

Greek citizens have welcomed them, and also many Albanian immigrants who are helping with food, clothes and blankets.

More police officers are seen in Konica, but not in the Albanian border.

Koncia is 5 km from Leskovik and 60 km from Permet.
