Refugees in Idomeni, Greece, see no more hopes to EU

Refugees keep waiting in Idomeni, Greece, while hopes are dying out. Al
Jazeera says that the humanitarian response to their needs is lower,
while those why continue their efforts to cross the border with
Macedonai, hold marks of physical violence on their bodies.

Besides Macedonian officers, the Greek government is now saying that Idomeni will be closed and all refugees will be transferred to official camps. The last hope for refugees is now Albania, a few kilometers from the Greek border, but stories spread about difficulties around the Albanian mountains make them think twice.

“We have heard that some who tried to cross the border between Greece and Albania have disappeared. We don’t know what happened to them”, says Hamza, a Palestinian immigrant.

Their only chance is buying fake passports and travel through the Greek airports to EU countries, but they say prices mount up to 4000 EUR for Germany and 5000 EUR for Sweden.
