“Reforms in the Civil Service”

During a meeting with the Regional School of Public Administration, Nishani declared that there is needed a reform in the public administration for fulfilling one of the 12 EU recommendations of the candidate status.

“All essential steps for the public administration reform should be taken together with the amends of the Civil Service Law and by strengthening the Public Administration Department, with the purpose of increasing professionalism and the de-politicization of the public administration; for strengthening the way the nominations and promotions are made, making them more transparent and based on merits”, Nishani declared.

The Regional School of the Public Administration is a project of the European Union, which aims the improvement of the public administration capacities in Balkan countries that aim EU membership.
