The former Albanian Deputy Foreign Minister, Edith Harxhi, said that Russia is spreading its influence in Macedonia, and the referendum result showed that the EU failed.
“Russia is sitting right in the middle of Balkan and Skopje, after Podgorica’s plan failed. The Russian Foreign Minister said that they would change the strategy in Balkan, taking it more seriously, and they are already influencing. Macedonia could be destabilized if these forces continue their work. The referendum in Macedonia is a failure of the EU, because they were too late to bring their attention on the matter”, Harxhi said.
