
The President of Kosovo, Atifete Jahjaga, traveled to New York for the
General Assembly of the United Nations, which starts this Tuesday.

The Kosovo Prime Minister, Hashim Thaci traveled to New York one day ago.
Jahjaga and Thaci, with their presence at the Crystal Palace, will meet world leaders in the lobbing process for new Kosovo independence recognition.
Official Prishtina is expecting new recognitions, which are expected to come from African and Latin American countries.
The President Jahjaga will hold a speech at the Columbia University, with the topic “Kosovo’s future road”.
During a tour that Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Behgjet Pacolli undertook in Africa, Kosovo has been recognized by Central Africa, Guinea Conakry, Benin, Niger and Gabon.
The Kosovo Foreign Minister, Enver Hoxhaj declared that Egypt has promised to recognize Kosovo independence very soon.
