Reaction against street dog killings

This action that violates all rules of an European society has been taking place in Tirana’s roads for the last days. Many Municipality employees have started hunting street dogs down. This action met the organization revolts, who warned a protest in front of the Municipality.

The dogs used to be kept in iron cages and then transported to areas where they were eliminated. The macabre method has been kept secret by the state institutions, while the International Animal Right Institutions are ready to interfere for condemning this primitive act. The transparence of competent institutions for this situation is very necessary for a society that doesn’t belong to the third world.
